FOOD Photography
Over time, my role at Golden Steer evolved from a graphic designer to an in-house photographer and art director. With this change, I took on the responsibility of conceptualizing ideas, directing photoshoots, and retouching final images.
Additionally, I contributed to cocktail photography alongside food captures during specific shoots.

SETTING THE TABLE AND MOOD
When I first began doing food shoots for Golden Steer, the focus was on capturing complete meals. At the time, Golden Steer was primarily focused on offering "fine dining in a box," and selling their signature product, The Best Steaks on Earth™, nationwide.
To create an immersive experience, the photos were shot from a top-down perspective, giving the viewer the impression that they were looking at the complete meal.
For each photoshoot, I conceived and created mockups of the final image, set up equipment, styled the food, captured and retouched the final photos.

SECONDARY CAPTURES
During almost every photo or video shoot, I captured additional content that could be used on our social media channels, website promotions, or advertisements. I often snapped these photos in the moment, which gave a true perspective of the product being offered.
Lightbox and Scenic
COCKTAIL PHOTOGRAPHY
While food settings aimed to stimulate the consumer's imagination, cocktails occasionally took center stage within lightboxes, allowing their intricate details to shine.
