Adobe Max - Where Generative AI Takes Center Stage
This is my third year attending Adobe Max, an annual conference for designers. This isn't my first time here; I also attended in 2019 and 2022.
In 2019, the focus was on bringing Adobe's creative tools to the iPad, spanning from Photoshop to Adobe Fresco. The following year, the theme shifted towards Adobe Express, emphasizing content efficiency.
This year, Adobe Max's theme revolves around generative AI, and it's a topic that's hard to ignore. From Photoshop to Illustrator to Premiere Pro, AI has become a familiar tool for me, as well as for designers everywhere. Adobe made it clear in their keynote that AI is a co-pilot, not the pilot, stressing that, much like the advent of photography didn't replace painting, AI is here to enhance the creative process.
Many of the discussions at the conference are centered on AI and how it enhances workflow. It's clear that AI is empowering creatives to unleash their full creative potential.
